Omacor capsules 1000mg has been shown to have a protective effect on the heart following a heart attack, and lowers the levels of triglycerides (a fat-like substance) in the blood. Omacor contains highly purified omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids and omacor belongs to a group of reducers of cholesterol and triglycerides.

How to use
Treatment after a heart attack the usual dose is one capsule daily. Hypertriglyceridaemia (high blood triglyceride levels) the usual dose is 2 to 4 capsules a day as recommended by a doctor. Take the capsules with water. You may take the capsules at meal times to help reduce gastrointestinal side effects.
